His tenure at National Bucharest in 2005 was particularly notable, where he achieved a record 17 consecutive wins.

In addition to his team successes, Landi obtained a prestigious UEFA Pro License in 2003 and joined Messina’s managing staff for their 2002-03 campaign. He has also held coaching positions at Qatar U21, FC Sopron in Hungary, and was linked to Port Vale F.C. through his agent.
Landi’s managerial prowess extended to Scotland, where he led Livingston to a Best Coach of the Month award in August 2008. He also helmed Royale Union Saint-Gilloise in Belgium and the Liberia national team from 2011 to 2012, with another stint considered in 2014.
